HEAD COACH

Coach Jay started coaching basketball at the local Boys and Girls Club in 2001, as a community service, while he was a student at Auburn University. Coach Jay quickly realized that outside of Engineering he enjoyed coaching kids and giving back to the community. Coach Jay has served as the General Manager, Head Coach and Assistant Coach for Alabama Truth. Coach Jay has also served as a Assistant Coach with Sparkman Middle school for 3 years from 2013 - 2015.

ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Smartt is the owner and head trainer of PlaySmartt Basketball Clinic in Huntsville Alabama. He has over 17 years of coaching experience and has served as Head Coach and Assistant Coach with Alabama Truth. Also, Coach Smartt has coached at Butler High school, Randolph High School, and Westminister for several years and trained several high school teams throughout the State of Alabama as well as professionals.
